A Little Different

I've always been interested in politics. I remember watching Reagan speak on TV and rooting for George HW Bush when he ran against Clinton. I was 11 years old then... Yes... I was a little different. Politics are an interesting animal. The people are outspoken and sometimes bellicose and the power they wield can be great. But what about the sacrifice? They give themselves to ridicule and can become the target of heated attack. They can rise and fall faster than a new tech stock. Yet, still... People want to run. Right now I am covering a candidate for a local city council seat. I hope to get a better understanding of the world of local politics. I plan to share with you an inside look at the campaign and the candidate himself.. My hope is to show the person behind the politics. Stay tuned…
